If those good ones, sounds like coming from a 300Watts speakers with bass, playing Muse. THEN ITS WAY OK FOR ME AS WELL AS EVERYONE.

Cause, all Mrt rides is boring. HAHA. Bus is ok coz got TVMOBILE.

Of course if it was me and it was really bugging me i,d go give some fake smile and ask them real nicely.

But my point is that if they refuse you there really isnt much one can do. I guess at the very most complain to bus driver but that would be silly and it might not help either.

aiyah...listening to metal softly is like not listening to metal man. plus if u find it irritating, tap the person on the shoulder "do u mind if u could lower down the volume?" I have experienced this, someone actually tapped my shoulder and said the same thing. I found the dude kind enough to inform me that i was disturbing the peace, so i turn the volume down. Why not ask the person who's disturbing the entire bus to bear with it instead? Wouldn't it be easier for him to play it later than let the entire bus, with different people with varied music tastes be forced to listen to what he likes to listen?As you said, it's only a few hours, HE/SHE should be the one who endures. Some people are depending on that few hours/minutes of rest to ensure their entire day doesn't screw up.

Mind yall, these guys don't play it once every few days... they have this "weird" tendency to play it most of the time they are on the bus. On the bus i take, i can find em once every two days. No one is telling me that it's not my day every other day.

there was this once, i got on a bus to go LAN gaming, i heard a nerd playing smack that on his phone. tahan for 30 mins. each there, one feller played smack that LOUDLY from two till we left (which was around 630), then on the bus back, a sec 1/2 feller played smack that on his phone all the way to the interchange (i got off two stops before the interchange). my trip was 45 minutes. altogether that day, i heard five hours and 45 minutes worth of smack that NON STOP! somebody has to do something!!! 8O

Telling them is the best way lol. But i do get certain stupid replies after telling them that they are disturbing the peace and quiet of the public. Replies such as "If you want to sleep go home sleep lah. You come here irritated by my music not my problem". Well that's when I lose control and do something brave.

I also get freaking irritated not only with the mp3 phones but with ppl who use over the head earphones with their mp3 playesr and blast them at full volume. It's like as though they are showing off. I take the 6 am train to school everyday >.<

Wth sometimes I just remark loudly that "not everyone think that song is cool."

Still, the situtation has improved from the past when certain ppl tend to replay those monotone ringtones again and again. At least now it's music regardless of genre. Those monotone ringtones arh.. wah lao eh HEADACHE.

Nabei next time bring a mesa boogie stack cranked hard and a car battery to power it and just go hardcore metal to drown everyone out. Well I can dream can't I heh but the marshall table top ministack tat one confirm can bring onto MRT and jam.

It's so different from Japan when the japs receive just a call on their mobiles in public they will be extremely embarrassed.

Anyway my friend's mom PWNS all. Use PSP and mini microphone attachment sing karoke on MRT. SUPER hilarious.

i remember doing this for an english essay...

i think it's so bloody annoying. It's somesort invading people's privacy cause they're not respecting other people. I'm sure some of us might have experienced trying to sleep on the bus/mrt then some asswipe blasts sexyback on his/her handphone. But honestly, we should tell them off. Ask them to use/get a pair of headphones. If they don't want to then there's nothing much you can do. Just tell the bus captain or get outta the train or walk to another cabin. There's a certain extend to some people's limits. Sometimes they lose their cool, blow up and switch it off for them. That would also be invading their privacy. Recently, i was trying to sleep on the way home on the bus and some tutu kueh sitting next to me blasted girlfriend like into my damn ear !!!
