Yeah I get your point but I would like to know WHY technology is to be blamed?

This is my reason on why I have to disagree.

Products were NOT manufactured to be a nuisence to society in the first place. Mp3 phones were not originally manufactured to irritate members of the public , cars were not manufactured to be wrecked killing lives , Computers were not invented to allow hackers to corrupt other people's systems.

Cars were manufactured to satisfy a human demand and that is the quest for travelling efficiency. A car cannot be wrecked on its own.

Mp3 phones were manufactured to satisfy a human demand and that is to cater to music loving people. The mp3 phone cannot blast to music on its own.

Products are manufactured to satisfy a need or a want. Its all part and parcel of the marketing world.

Consumer's needs/wants are satisfied yes but what happens after that , is none of the marketer's business.
