and i like the openess of the shop too, staff are friendly and helpful, and the pedal displays are such a killer to look at!
and i like the fixed pricing, as opposed to some other shops' deceptive discounts. i mean just cut the crap and give us the real deal man. and you guys did it

hey i really like the place.. but i hope you could do something about a few things i noticed.. im sure it will make blackwood even better!

the sound rooms arent really "sound proof".. yes i know its not but it should be! i was trying out an amp in one of the rooms and the guy in the next room was blasting his amp! wth. how i try? haha. maybe you guys could sound proof the rooms (with a roof too haha)

secondly, perhaps it will be if theres a "volume limit" for amps.. cause it was suuppeeer loud in there. like i said.. i couldnt really hear what i was trying..

yep. please dont take this in a wrong way.. but this is just my own honest opinion. great job guys

Dropped by Blackwood just now. I must say the concept is excellent. Definitely a place for guitarists, by guitarists. .. No more staring at guitars in a glass cage

Got to say i love it.

1) Location is waaaayyy better compared to ebenex. Walking distance from city hall MRT is a big plus

2) Entire line of stomp boxes on shelves that are easily accessible.

3) 2 testing rooms where u can test stuff in privacy.

4) No pressure or time limit given when testing

Wishes
1) That theyll have the entire range of pedals that are available in ebenex

2) Better soundproofing between testing rooms
