I was there just now n dropped in. Wow, huge range of effects on the left n quite a number of boutique amps on the right, which included Marshall heads plus cab, I forgot which model, microstacks, the mg15cdrs, n Fender plus Vox amps

Guitars not much in stock but what caught my eye was a Fender Jimi Hendrix Strat, in cream colour n the body is no doubt upside down

The store is under david and a partner which im not at liberty to name , do check out the range or high end guitars and amplifiers there because his prices are out of this world cheap . Norman is working there now .

I love the very lounge-like boutique high end feel of the place! It emanciates class and axi-dimensional precarious urges ( read GAS)!

Kudos to David and the much-lauded design and store layout, really well done. Plus i especially love the look and feel of it.

thanks for the compliments!

blackwood guitars is a new entity that i've set up with a friend and investor. as some of you may recall, we were supposed to take in a whole lot of high end guitars for consignment. those guitars were supposed to be from this friend of mine.

after serious discussion, we decided to take the plunge and set up a brand new guitar boutique with only the finest boutique guitars, amps and effects.

that was just one month back and now the store is fully operational. we've got 2 more shipments coming in with the mesas and a few more gibsons and fenders and should be fully stocked by mid April.

for you guys who are still wondering where is blackwood guitars, we are located at 03-55 bras basah complex, right next to ranking sports, in front of swee lee.

we'd be uploading pics of our current stock on our new website, www.blackwood.com.sg shortly.

Nice place! I was there after an out-of-place floorball tournament in NLB..

It's like ebenex, only better! Sweet deals on amps, sweeter deals on guitars, and not to forget, the effects!

Coolest gimmick in the shop? The fact that the trying of equipment could be done in designated rooms, with kickass amps and axes, and even quality cables..

And best thing ever? Ebenex ain't open on Sundays.. This will be! :mrgreen:
