^ eh hello hello. of cos ppl will be suspicious lah. i mean, you joined like just TWO days ago, come in here and instead of asking about musical questions or learning a thing or two bout music, you come here and claim to know those 2 guys. and ask ppl for their bank account number.

a bit too much of a coincidence right??? you join, and then suddenly you know those 2 guys? or wat, you been on soft long ago but without a username and now you just signed up?

Hi mate, I just wanna input that no one above has mentioned the word "scam". One said "suspicious" and another said it's stupid to give one's bank account number to someone they don't know and that's bout it, no?

So unless you're intending on scamming someone, may I suggest you refrain from using the word "scam", 'cos it's just totally unfounded. 8)

i don't challenge that people will be suspicious. like i mentioned, it's up to you to decide whether i'm lying.

if you think i am one of them, that is fine with me.

i also do not have any intention whether it's stupid or it's scam. however by saying it's stupid means that the bank number could be abused, do you agree?

if scam is the wrong word to use then please accept my apologies. i certainly do not mean ill.

my intention is to resolve the issue, not to offend others. if you have a good suggestion please let me know.
 
Yup, I have a very good suggestion. Send the user you intend to reach a private message. It saves a lot of trouble, 'cos as of now, this topic will be opened for a big debate; and really, you did not have to tell everyone here you sort of know those guys. Cool?

How bout since you know those 2 guys why not ask them to reply directly here instead of hiding behind friends such as yourself.

Let them clarify things directly.
 
i don't see why that two guys must hide behind the scene and let others do the settlement for them? She is a girl right? u two guys don't dare to meet someone u jammed before and pay up for what you owe her? kind of sneaky to me, and this is Singapore, too small to hide seriously
 
Honestly, if I were u, I would not have paid for the jamming at all. Let the studio owners deal with it. Worst to worst, u will be blacklisted at that studio thats all..

This is Chris the bassist. Also falsely accused as the "jamming fees cheat" by dear Sephira Moonsliver. To all who have replied in support of Sephira Moonsliver, I just have one thing to tell you, please DO NOT jump to conclusions until you have heard both sides of the story... please... hear me out first. I want to emphasize that it was NOT our intention to run away without paying. I admit with all my heart that we dealt with this the wrong way by avoiding Sephira after we felt that the chemistry with her was not right and that she was not suitable for our band. Believe me... if I can turn back time I would have just called her up and ended things with her amicably. Again... I fully take responsibility for not informing her up front about this decision and I should have met up and "broke up" with her like a man!! For this I am truly truly sorry. In terms of the SGD25 that we owe her... I take full responsibility and will pay it back as soon as I can arrange something with Sephira privately. Honestly, we have never cheated anyone of their jamming money! Y WOULD WE??? We are all working adults!! Before and after this unfortunate incident, we've jammed with numerous others, a majority of whom are Soft users and have always paid our dues! Y run away from 25 dollars??? It doesn't make sense!! Like I said... this incident spawned from the simplest of problems... band member chemistry INCOMPATIBILITY!! OK... We should have told her face to face amicably... we admit our mistake here... but... one thing led to another... and the 25 dollars eventually slipped our mind!! IT WAS TOTALLY UNDELIBERATE!! Let me ask each and every Soft user an honest question. Haven't we all... at one point or another... owed someone some jamming fees?? Most of the time, its because we have no change, needed an ATM or some band member volunteered to pay first, etc, etc. Well, this was exactly what happened!! We are ready to pay you back Sephira. Please stop ruining our reputations OK?? We are sorry that we cut you out of our band in a bad way... we apologize... but stop calling us "jamming fee cheats"!! It is slanderous, nasty and totally uncalled for!! OK, I will send you (dear Sephira) a private message later to get things cleared up once and for all. This is very very very unnecessary! Thank you!

Thats not very nice what.. The jamming studio owner just wants to earn a living and if everyone does that, all the jamming studios would close down..

If i were u i rather meet them in person and get cold hard cash, lest they decide to do anything else funny. (like oh say bank got prob etcetc)
 
agreed man. Why the need for bank transfer when its just 25 dollars. Unless time is SUPER constrain that you got something on every 30mins.

Btw, for those auditioning members for your own band, if you shld decide after the jam not to jam with them anymore please do the right thing and tell them upfront.or just say "thanks for coming, we need to do some more auditions" or " sorry but we do not think you are wat we are looking for' etc. I had both auditioned for bands and let people audition for my band b4. we always tell them upfront.do not ever say things like ' we can be friends", "perhaps we can hang out" if you are not certain of that happening or trying too hard to be nice. it would seem hypocritical."good luck" is another option.

another thing i hate is "we shall have lunch together" and i would go there without lunch and then they all run off after jam claiming got appointment etc...dat's selfish and idiotic.


:( it doesnt help that situation at my workplace is rough :(

not that i am unforgiving but they keep lying how to forgive?
