Beware of jamming fees cheats wanting to jam judy and mary covers.(jpop)

This is a warning to all forum userS, esp for those jpop band seekers.

Please beware of 2 malaysians (one bassist (name is Chris), one drummer (drummer has a car)
jamming with a singapore guy guitarist wanting to do Jpop band "JUDY AND MARY" COVERS.? They play Mika Nakajima covers and some Yuna Ito songs from the NANA film soundtracks as well.
they are in their mid 20s.(round 26-27) The guitarist is 24.

These two malaysian guys cheated me of the jamming fees before they did the disappearing act.(about $25++)

Apparently they lied say they have no hard cash but took a cab later go off.
then Chris took away his photo/profile in friendster and refused to answer my calls until I used my home telephone no. then he lied say u all working no time jam. what rubbish.

if you are the singaporean guitarist, I applaud you for having the conscience and goodwill for insisting to pay me back the jam fees on the spot.good for you.

if you are the singaporean guitarist and are jamming with another bassist and drummer now, u can PM me for a jam session.

The purpose of this message is to find a band that jams the songs I like to sing and enjoy.
And secondly to warn/apprehend those suckers who have no balls then to cheat a lady of her hard-earned cash.and with no shame at all. shame on your church and religion also.

I'd be more than happy to pay for their share for the sake of music. Especially during hard times like now, humans have to learn to be honest. In the meantime we just have to keep a lookout if there are anymore cases involving these two guys that may require legal actions.

For aminute I thought I would be bomb-blasted with messages like "get alife" etc.

Times are bad, but why cheat other people? and they drive car somemore.and carry laptops and stuff.they seemed very well-off. somemore take cab leave one.say the car gone for repairs.They are usually late for jams, 1st time is more than 1 1/2 hours.claiming they not sure what route to drive.
2nd, it's 1/2 an hour.

Hilarious thing is, we jammed 2 times before they exited.And we got good reviews at the 2 studios we jammed at from the counter staff. so I am really bewildered as to what happened, and it riles me more as I think about it.Not that I am against Malaysian chinese but it's funny as I always warned my friends about them (due to plenty bad experiences with them, no discrimination meant here to everyone in soft), then when I let my guard down, shit happens.

Their posted link is lost. It's last year I think but Mr. moderator cleared the 2008 postings.

Anyway, Please be vigilant everyone.

It's not a huge amount so I doubt the police can do much, unless there's alot of people who kena cheated by them also then we can make group report together then more impact.

The two Malaysian guys are on the chubby (fat) side. They wear bermudas, t-shirts, sports shoes and one of them sometimes sports a cap.

The drummer is wearing (black or brown rimmed) glasses, and the bassist wears cap sometimes.
Bassist works as front desk hotel staff at a hotel near Forum.


How that this post is out, if they seen it they will lie about their nationality and their names,
so just in case, the local guitarist who's with them is skinny wears ripped jeans and tee (when jam weekends but office wear when jam weekdays) and glasses too. He works in IT.

The bad economic situation may turn up alot more scams like these gradually. so remember TO ALWAYS BRING LOTS OF SPARE CHANGE WHEN JAMMING WITH NEW BANDMATES AND ALWAYS PAY FOR YOUR SHARE ONLY, IRREGARDLESS OF WHAT OTHERS THINK.

these two guys need to be given some punishments i feel,Jamming money is not expensive,but its not cheap in the long run either. Whatever the case,bluffing that u dont have money and then laughing in the cab together after a bandmate paid for you with her kindness is downright hypocritical. If i were you, i considered it bad luck to find such ppl.

hello all,

i am not either of the 2 guys mentioned by sephira. you may think i am lying, that is up to you to decide.

i have no interest in what transpired between sephira and them. i just happen to know chris & his friend on a face-to-face basis, and i do not think they are cheats just out for money.

hedron, i am not aware how you can scam people by asking for their bank number alone. if you do know how do share how one could do it.

if you have a better suggestion how to settle this then i'm willing to hear you out.
