Best wishes to all Muslim Softies this Ramadhan

this is why we must be wary of such references, just because there is historical references, it doesn't equal justification.

bro adly..the 1st group as mentioned by bro Thoa in the Badr War were not militants..the term "militants" is very subjective...early 80's Afghan war...militants to the Soviets..mujahideen to USA...

nevertheless have a Great Ramadhan..

It is not impossible. Hard but not impossible.

In this case the Battle of Badr can be used as a Good reference. ;)

wah. i love fasting man. forced to save money . hahah.
and a month to clear my dreadful sins. well thats what they say . ha.

Happy fasting !

go terawih properly ah !

how do guys in NS fast, and still go through all the rigorous training?

Thats when your endurance and psychological strengths comes in. I was enlisted to NS during the second week of Ramadhan. During that time, the body wasn't up to shape as well so I had to forfeit 2 days of fast during BMT, otherwise I feel I could have gotten heat stroke or something. Sahur was also a challenge as we have to wake up at 4 am to eat. However during Break fast, thats where you can really appreciate and feel the joy of the food and drink. From that point onwards, I received the epiphany on what fasting really means...

Unit life is not much different but now the body is abit more steady, so can endure it better. However wearing the MOPP suit everyday during fasting was also a real lovelovelovelovelove...

For those wanting to lose weight effectively, go ahead and enlist to NS. Best diet programme...
