Anyone knows if Behringer pedals are good??

I'm looking for distortion and delay pedals... and Behringer pedals are cheap..

Any advices? I'm new to effects...

decent and cheaply build.
you do get what you pay for.
their r&d, ie. research&duplicate team seems to be pretty good :P

y not danelectro? cheaper and better! only thing ppl complain abt is either the long story of true bypass or the plastic casing which will break into pieces e 1st time you step on the "stomp switch"

does that means the more i pay the better?? :D

Just curious, why people perfers to buy single effect then multi-effects??

ok Multi-fects had tons of flaws(esp the affordable ones)....i just got my Behringer V-Amp...and when i change from distortion to clean...there will be a lag....so imagine a song that changes alot of times...that would be irritating...so i suggest for distortion pedal..get a daneelectro...it doesnt break the first time u step on it...but it does look flimsy...

for multi-fects...its good for testing out the different sounds u can achieve...but for single effects...is when u're already confident and have money to spare :D

I've been stomping on my tunamelt and frenchtoast for the past dunno how many years... casing haven break yet leh!!!

only problems is the jacks and the knobs popping out lah... handle with care.

Never seen danelectro b4 leh :? Where do I find them???

Any idea where can i find tons of pedals???

Thanks for all ur help so far! :P

R&D
it was more like ripp & roll ... waste of money...and please remember most of it are surface mount...if you wanna mod gotta bring it to your friendly hand phone guy

i have the behringer eq, compression sustainer and phase shifter...

the eq does it job decently

the compression is a bit weak BUT it is quieter than the cs-3. not too much sustain... but it does brighten up your sound especially on clean rhythms

the phase shifter does what its supposed to, phase and shift hehe

about the plastic thing... i stomp on it a lot and dont seem to break. its made of tough plastic, but of course any equipment has its limit, just dont jump on it!

oh i forgot... i also have the GDI21

if you want danelectro... there's this shop at parklane mall on the 2nd floor... has a lot of danos there especially those not found in yamaha

Perhaps a better word would be "different"? :)

In anycase, less compression WILL equate to less noise since whatever noise there is will be compressed/amplified less.

The CS-3's sustain knob should be no more than 12 oclock, if you intend to keep it quiet.

And have it modded by Randolf.

hehe i used "weak" coz it was supposed to be a clone of the cs-3.

well that's how they were selling it before the lawsuit from boss :D

speaking of... does anyone here have the "lawsuit" pedals from behringer?

I thnk those "lawsuit" boss pedals never came out, cos they were already sued when they unveiled those pedals on the web.

For danelectro pedals, I saw some at music theme as well.

Anyone has them?? Gd or not??

danelectro pedals i saw them today at ranking sport... looks like toys and will break easliy...

one way to know is to try out the pedal...and stomp it in front of the sales person real hard...and smile

Hmm.

I'm personally using a behringer Bass EQ for my guitar.. so far I've been using it for months and it has not failed me. I also have a Danelectro reverb with the plastic casing and the only gripe is that it produces weird wounds when the battery is dying. kinda like the 'mars attacks' laser gun sound effect.

I would say that these two brands have the bang for the buck (for selected models). Of course as mentioned in some form or another above: try for yourself and see whether you like them.

This calls for a dead battery decay KNOB mod!!!!
