Beginners unite!

Hey Matt...

Just wanna let ya know that all of these meetings and gatherings will be handed over to you as I have been employed by City Music recently. Saturdays are retail hours so I won't be able to lead the group.

And guys, just wanna let you know you have been the most fun and knowledgeable bunch I've ever known. Thanks for sharing those moments. I might probably visit sometimes, provided if I have a half day leave or something, but other than that....will be missing you all..

Cheers ;) Please keep me updated of all gatherings

there.

Hey GuitarBoy and MonkeyVibrations,

Sorry for this late reply. Haha. My sis needed her classical guitar back so I was left with no guitar to practice on for almost 2 weeks. :(

But I will be heading to Peninsula later on to check out the acoustic guitars, most probably getting one as well. :D I'll check out both the guitars and finally decide on one to purchase!

Thanks so much for helping a guitar newbie out. :)

Haha MonkeyVibrations! I got mine at around 4-5pm. ;o

Was introduced a fina $200+ acoustic guitar by the sales-lady, but then I didn't take it as I found it to be too... mellow? Not sure if that's the right word to describe it.

So in the end I went for Takamine's G-series! It's probably the cheapest of the series but it sounds good. :D I really love the overall feel of it as well as most importantly, the tone of it - crisp, clear and nice. (:

Time to start my self-learning lessons proper! Haha. Going to learn some open chords first~ Following Justin Sandercoe's Beginner Course by the way.
