Beautiful shoegazin...

Sigh.... i wish someone will form a shoegazing band with me now...

Like old foggies in their 30s doing shoegazing due to osteoporosis and lack of groupie sex.

What am i doing with an army of guitars and effects at home when i'm not even making noise?! Midlife crisis....
 
I wish bands like Chapterhouse, Slowdive and Ride would reunite!!

Ok, at least there's JAMC and MBV now.

ole fogeys unite n form indie shoegaze tribute band!!!! hahaha sounds like the most embarrasing fun to be had!!! imagine the young emo kids goin wtf these fartos doin hahahah

to make things more authentic CANNOT have pedal board ok? just indiv pedals which u must painstakingly link together to show ppl how hard life was then bwagahagahahaha

Haha... last time no pedalboard, everything put inside haversack bag, go onstage assemble slowly. Then lagi worse, last time no AC adaptor daisy chain, everything use 9V batteries! KNN... so many avenues for onstage cockup!

BUT STILL, "last time" are the best times for old fogeys like us!! Musicians now are the privileged lot, just like the 18 year olds entering army now... simi Gortex Boots la, Windbreaker la, pixelated camo uniform, simi simi 2 year NS la, 5-day week.... wah lanz.

Has anyone bought this album -and now the Christmas version- in a case, with a disc in it, from a shop in Singapore where one can take it the counter and pay another human being - in person - with cash solid money. That's how I like to get my records, but it's never been anywhere I looked for it this Glasvegas one. Which is ridiculous since it got to number 2 on British charts.

Last time? I still use the haversack technique. Can't get used to boards or cases.

Etc played some of their gaze-ier stuff on Wednesday but it's HOW you play it rather than the pedals. Was reminded of this that night when I added another distortion/overdrive to my usual trio/duo, but it just made it messy.

You would have owned one if you were one of those lucky few to grab that few pieces from HMV initially before they stopped restocking them!

I ended up ordering mine online. Oh, get the version with the bonus disc! The xmas EP is awesome too, was just listening to it yesterday... feedback buzz!
