whats boutique about the BBE? its not handmade etc...?

BBE is not really boutique. In the audio recording world, esp mastering, it's pretty much a common rack item. BBE just develop their ware to reach the musicians, i.e. guitarist in this case.

i've lent my sonic stomp to my bassist friend and he comment on how well it sonicfied his bass sounds. More punchy and definition.

actually, one of the things i use the sonic stomp for is playing music through my keyboard amp. i plug straight from my computer into my pedalboard with a 1/4" converter. you can ask superkicky, it sounds better than my jbl creature speakers..haha
