for Al-Qaeda link networks..such as the the 28 that I have mentioned, they do have a few hardcore members ranging from a few hundreds to 1k...but the real number is unknown..

what is worrying is the the sympathizers..the number can be in thousands. Another worrying trend is that a few of this sympathizers do have real military experience and have seen real combat...

let us take a look at Jemaah Islamiyah as an example...the group is run with a core 4 cells...the Armed cell, the Recruitment cell, the Finance cell and the School cell.

the cell are like departments,each managed by a Head of Dept.
Armed cell - the military/combat dept
Recruitment cell - the HR dept
Finance cell - the business dept...make $ by operating shops/markets/business
School cell - the training dept..

If you can see, they are run like a normal firm..where you have your HR dept, Sales Dept,Training Dept,Admin Dept, etc etc...

the real number of core members of this group is unknown except for the executive council..the board of directors in layman terms...

The difference between terrorists and ordinary civillians are terrorists have this 'i don't care if i die' mentality whereas ordinary civillians are too scared to even help anyone who is being bullied on the street etc. We have 'thinking people' who are father,son and husband of someone else and that 'i don't wanna die,i can't die' mentality lets the "terrorist wins!"

hahahah. moustaches are just very common amongst all indian men. it's sort of like a masculinity thing. and I don't really think they look alike. I bet most native africans think most chinese look alike, and vice versa.

my view on terrorism is kinda like these:

the Leaders: manipulative, 'sugar-coated' mouth, charismatic.

the Pawns(the people who carry out orders): Curious.

for me, its a case of curiousity killed the cat along with many, many, many cats.

cause like someone mentioned somewhere, "the more you learn something, the more you realise that you don't know." dun quite know how to elaborate ah.

the Pawns are curious, find out from Leaders who are manipulative and very charismatic. then the chain goes on and on and on and on..
