it is true israeli use the pieces of land to be their home in the past years. which is called zionism. but now it is 50 years old conflict. instead of thinking how to share the land together both party racing to use military forces to solved the problems.
there are many part of the world still in conflict similar to palestine but no conflict have spread the whole world to share their conflict like this. tibet -china is a good example. instead of building a legion of "shaolin" warriors (because it is a buddhism peoples vs atheist authority), the Dalai Lama use negotiation. but from the news we dont see the same method being used.
to tolerance the terrorist attack base on israel - palestine conflictis giving a wrong message, that, if somebody kick my dog I am justify to kick someone else dog also. we do it in dark ages, not in our life time. if the singapore court use this rule then we can substitue mas kastari with their relevant relatives.
when terrorist launch a random attack we are being asked a rethoric question, "why they did it? what "forced" them? who oppresed them?"
so when israel or usa use military force to attack palestine or afghan or iraq, we must use the same question "why they did it? what "forced" them? who oppresed them?". there are millions of israel living in palestine now. why they need to build a strong military forces ? is it because the neighbouring contry's president keep saying to deleted them from a world map ? (hint; iran's president). same standard.
usa invasion to iraq and afghan also a pre-emptive attack. before they get hit twice (first in 9/11) they act first. but alas, the one who attack 9/11 is anonymous, so iraq and afghan in usa's point of view is the closest to go. the same motive the al qaeda do, they can not attack israel or usa but then the closes allly get the hit. same standard.
btw, the usa citizen just elected Obama. a figure who against using physical force to end the world mesh. It is a strong message that USA citizen do not want to fight terrorist via force . so if in the next couple of year Obama really withdraw troops from the conflict area and the israel-palestine problem have improvement to both party. then we hope it will end the cycle.
