On the other hand, there isn't a cold hard rule saying you can't have 2 same pedals in your pedalboard. It is just how you're gonna meddle with it.
2 DS-1?
1st DS-1 be your main distortion unit, set it with the right 'flavour' you want.
2nd DS-1, (you wanted very big difference in volume?), TONE & DIST = 0, VOLUME = MAX.
Works this way as well.

What i want is great difference in the volume when i'm already using DS - 1 ...
