may i suggest you to use a different font? it totally amatuerish-ize the art piece. hehe

a grunge non-standard font will be more fitting.

IMO: Use a more victorian/thicker epic font, and after that just splash small drops of black ink over em? Just my 2cents, I'm no expert.

My thoughts: Make the main black logo slightly translucent with a slight blur around the edges. This will make it sit into the picture more.

I'm surprise there is no "Art Gallery" thread yet on this forum. I keep seeing
"Open Mic" being utilised for this more.
