I haven't heard Art of Life, but A Change of Seasons is impressive imo.

Basket, this decision is tough. I would love to say Art of Life, but the 6 minute long piano solo is a little difficult to appreciate if you haven't listened to the song many times. Change of Seasons is just, undeniably good.

Can i say both? :lol:

One for the asian feel, one for the "ang mor" feel. Both great half hour epics though hehe.

Trust me. MacAlpine's Piano recital is much easier to appreciate. Go give Art of Life a listen. You'd get what i mean. Don't wanna reveal too much, spoils the fun

I have listened to Art of Life.

I find them more or less in the same league. Well, maybe Mr. McAlpine's was a little easier to appreciate, but my anticipation of some kickass Vai kinda brought it down a little. To me they're the same.

Anyway the piano solo maybe at first soudns boring but if you listen properly Yoshiki is trying to tell something to the listener ...

I heard change of seasons too, ok for me but but art of life.. WAH. The best you've see the concert, im considering uploading it.
