what are u using it for? vocals or instruments?
have u checked out the studio projects VTB-1? been browsing around recently for a nice tube pre for myself too, and the SP VTB-1 came out highly recommended from a lot of studio owners. thot you might like to know thash all. sorry for the OT. cheers

wah the review from Musiciansfren alone... you read alraedy also scared leh... hahaha

for me i'm more intereested in those rack mountable one, the Dual Mic pres with the VariableValvevoicing kind, not sure if DPS or TPS, but i think no difference btw the two, read about them from SOS, and my fren owns one too. I think it sure does warm things up noticably
