I was going through my collection when I came across two of his CD's, "Solo" and "Kiss and tell". The man is an incredible guitarist. I was fortunate to see him play at the Esplanade a few years ago, when he played solo. I remember one song where he played 5 short 'pieces' as played by different instruments, and he combined them all together into a mind blowing song. He said he heard that when he visited Africa.
My first exposure to the man was in India when he played in 1988/89, just 5km from my house. I forget what he played, but there was a piano and a fretless bass player. That concert changed my taste in music forever.
