Anymore thing to add on?

Hi guys. I always feel that there is something amiss in the tone of my guitar.It feels bland and it need to be shaped. I dunno how to describe it.
*I use a ESP LTD V200 and line 6 spider 3 30 watt.
*I am playing all types of Heavy Metal.
*I always use the Insane channel on my amp for my distorted playing.

Maybe a multieffect pedal or an equaliser?I am lost .Hope u guys can help me.

maybe you're just toooo used to the sound and you got bored of it? thats why you see people having tonnes of pedals for versatile tonal pawnage.
