there's a music complex, sorry I don't know the address

about 30-40 shops on 3 floors.

Mostly cheap brands you never heard of made in Korea but also a few high price Gibson Fender ibanez, ESP, Jackson, Yamaha etc. Even more expensive than Swee Lee!

Must be the same one i went to. I think it's the only one in seoul, so if you ask the hotel guide they'll tell you. Any other guitar shops will pale in comparison. Don't get too fleeced by those jokers, cos their prices are roughly the same, if not more. They've got zvex,eh, and other boutique brands.

The good stuff is the crap gear that gets sold by the more one kind stalls in the middle of the walkway. While there should try driving around, you have my guarantee it's like GTA without the T, and better police road blocks.

Remembered what it's called it's the nakwon music arcade. Stacks of suspect goods, and loads of weird shopowners. Don't forget to check out the tea shops nearby.

Do you remember which area that would be in .... maybe around Kangnam or Jungno?

I've been to Korea bout 8 times in the last 2 years, normally staying at Lotte Hotel but I can't think why I never headed down to checkout any shops.

If you know of any good shops round that area, do suggest.

Lotte hotel/lotte world ya? i think is a bit far from the place. Er gangnam sounds familiar but i'm not too sure maybe a stop after that. I think it's close to some palace gate or the other. If you grab a map it'll be pretty clear. The subway's right near lotte hotel.

The coffee shops are great stuff! And don't forget to try out the jazz bar at itaewon. There's only one with a website, and the music is definitely way better than here in singapore.
