not too sure.. but u can see that it has 22 frets and using those flat saddles instead of 21 frets, vintage saddles.

Squier Strat

Hi,

Looks can be deceiving. Why dun u head on down to Swee Lee Aljunied & try out e sound. Guitar shapes & sizes may vary, so is the sound. You can get a guitar similar to e one posted in e USA sites, but e sound may come out to be what u do not wan. My best bet - go test it fully b4 u rush to a decision.

Regards,
Gerald

thats a queir deluexe series strat if i m not mistaken

deluexe series are better than the affinity ones ? hmm thats what ive heard about them :D the deluexe series telecaster has a black headstock , and chrome pickguard

yea indeed...thanks for the great advice....

have played a highway strat for a good amount of time and loved it very much compared to the other guitars i've heard and tried.....

was hoping that this and the strat more of less sound the same although i still believe the squier would still have an inferiority in sound but i'm ok with it since i'm paying less oso...

will be going down next week to try...if i love it i'll buy it on the spot!

yeap its a deluxe strat  ......the online reviews of those who have tried and own it seems to be surprising very good....hehe.....but have yet to actually try one......but still i'm still a noob... :(

the affinity ones are the cheapest lot of the squiers and i only saw one as part of a budget pack...299 for the strat 10 watt amp and tuner.....got pretty bad reponse from ppl whenever i ask bout them...poor finishing and stuff....but not too sure bout it oso...haha

hmm...u mean the special edition telecaster? yea....the sexy black finish and headstock with the chrome....but didn't see any around in SG......and i still prefer the strat...hehe

tell them u gonna buy from the other outlet :D or... ask cheaper then pretend to walk off... They'll sure catch you one :D

squier and H1 pickups are different to begin with.

squier models (at least this one) is finished... the H1 has a satin finish instead.

* H1 has 22 frets, this squier has 22 frets. (apologies for the mistake.)

Saddles... (the one at the bridge.. the 6 things below the end of the strings) are different. H1 uses vintage saddles i think while the deluxe uses the flat ones like the picture u put up. imo i prefer the flat ones... easier to maintain.

btw the special edition tele is on sale at luthermusic.[/b]

no theres another one... 2004 also... but it is black and has a mirror pickguard. special edition or limited edition im not sure which one :?

haha, i believe they are the same, as long as you can see your reflection in the pickguard means mirror!

there is also a stratocaster model like the telecaster, with the mirror pickguard. wonder where it is now.
