Any ideas to improve our surrounding?

i'm thinkin of participating in the Singapore Design Festival - 10TouchPoints but i cant think of any nice ideas.
its for improving our surroundings through good design for a better quality of life.
anyone has any nice ideas to share?

I think if someone has a really good idea, he/she would submit it him/herself. :S

hmm cause i'm hoping that there may be some who think submitting is a hassle and prefers to just vote cause vote can win 8GB ipod nano. nominator prize not sure what issit, didn't state clearly
