analog vs digital (guitar pedal)

haha, no problems... analog will sound warmer cuz of the variations cuz the waveform for analog pedals do not have that fixed value that digital have.. and for some reason it makes the pedal sound warmer...

haha.. wish i could do that.. i've got a year more to go and its pure torture.. mayb i can become a pedal modder once i finish my course!!! :D

Analog is warm because the transistors will heat up.

Digital is cold because the IC chip doesn't as much.

Therefore tube is warmest. In fact tubes get quite hot.

I'm joking.

And yet i'm not. :P

ooo bro ark bro. up your dodgy points.

Screw digital man. Analog is the way to go. But for modulation/delay that kinda stuff. digital works well la. but analog ones sound good too..

drives/gain stuff/comp. GET ANALOG.Digital will get u nowhere near analog for this

Modulation/delay:digiatl does quite well.heh. analog rocks too. analog delays tend to sound warmer to me.

analog distortion get from where? tube amps and tube pedals?

so the best is put an analog booster infront of a tube amp, and the rest of the effects in the effects loop?

how about wah? i heard the bet use of modulation pedals is to put it right at the start of the chain... use analog wah?

haha wth?
