Recently, my buddy has problems with his amp. For 2 weeks, the amp sometimes work/do not work. He said that the problem lies solely on the amp cos the chords and guitar are perfectly fine.

I would like to know if there are shops that repairs amps.
And please state where it is located.
Frankly, I've never had a problem so I don't know much bout repairs.

Thanks.

Ok..if you noe...very simple
1)power downff the amp main switch & disconnect the socket...NOT YOUR HOUSE SUPPLY!!! C liao
2)Take a multimeter(Best Digital one).Disconnect the cable(normally Red +ve & White -ve) of your speaker at the back panel.
3)Set your multimeter in Ohm mode & put the 2 probe on the speaker terminal(red probe to the speaker +V & black probe to the speaker -ve).There should be a reading(RESISTANCE),if not your speaker is an open circuit one which need to be replace.

Ha...Ha...there's reading???...MUst be confidently dare
1)Need to Power UP/ Switch "on"the Amp.Do not let the two wire speaker connected each other or touches the amp body.
2)Set your multimeter in Volt Range& place the 2 probe at the 2 wire being disconnected(similar like part 3 procedure)
3)There should be reading,if not the internal component of your amp.is damage.

Pls Sms me if not sure.

Hi, did you ever get this sorted ?

Just starting up a new service here in Singapore for people like you.

Is the amp a tube amp or solid state ?

AMPMAGIC is a new company who can build, modify and repair tube amps here in Singapore.

Message me for more information.

i use to have this problem too and i thought my amp was spoiled i think you should check if the cable connected to the circuit and your amp is it tightly secured to your amp
if it is it might be the wires inside are loose or worst to worst the you blown your fuse
