Amp collectors

Yo guys

Just sniffing around, any of you guys collect amps? Either vintage or boutique?

I've been gassing really hard for amps ever since I've started sourcing for nice used ones to bring in, and it's brought on a whole new onset of GAS! In this next purchasing spree, I've been hunting for good deals on tube amps that give you pristine cleans that complement your pedals better (hey we listen to your feedback guys!)

Besides looking for a couple more of the classic Fender Bassman and the often underrated Roland Jazz Chorus (both of which are a perfect platform for you pedal-heads), Matchless is one of the other names that keeps popping up.

What other amps do you guys have wet dreams about? Divided by 13?

Soldano, Bogner, Two-Rock, Bugera, Hughes & Kettner, Mesa Boogie, ENGL, VHT..
Just to name a few! But it'd be really cool if there's a H&K Triamp over there..

Update

Just a quick update.

We've got a Divided by 13 JRT 9/15 in very RARE Oxblood red tolex finish coming in.

Engl Fireball and 7 Mesa Boogies are on the way too.

We still got the Orange AD30HTC head, Vox AC30s, Marshall JCM900/2000 etc. all at Blackwood Guitars.

Also check out an ORIGINAL 1969 Marshall Super Lead 100 head and cab as well as a Fender Masterbuilt 2 Tone amplifier.

We hear you guys

Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean, a Budda Superdrive 80 + 2x12 cab is making its long arduous journey to Blackwood, along with his German friend - an ENGL Screamer 50 combo.

Close on its heels will be a Divided by 13 JRT 9/15 in oxblood red + matching cab

:D

Traynor anyone? What about Hiwatt?

The Fender Masterbuilt two-tone amp is a 15W full-tube amp with reverb built by the Custom Shop in two-tone tolex. Based on the Blues Jr but with a 1x12" and 1x10" speaker combo - as a result quite unique and more toneful.

Will drop you a PM on the Tonemaster you're looking for.

Good day,
Blackwood

Hey man,

You can expect a couple of Dual Rectifier heads (3 channel), a Dual Rectifier head (2 channel), a Triple Rectifier head (3 channel), a 4x12 cab, 2x12 cab, a Lonestar combo in rare 4x10 configuration, and a 50W Rectoverb combo.

Do yourself a favor and PM us to get on the mailing list so you'll be one of the first to know when these monsters arrive!

Hi,

We've got 2 more Reissue Bassmans coming in, one is a Custom Shop Relic'd version, nice vintage vibe to it.

We've got 2 Blues Jrs in the lineup for those who believe that good things come in small packages.

The Budda Superdrive is well-known for its pristine cleans and its ability to play well with pedals, so you can look at that too. And don't write off the Mesa Lonestar just because it's a Boogie. The Lonestar has excellent cleans as well, and the one that's coming in is a 4x10 combo in champagne tolex(!), very much like the Bassman configuration.

Keep you posted soon
