qn2 looks like its set to make ppl do qn1.

anyway the paper realyl very wierd.
i keep checking see wrong paper not.
like ALL out of syllabus de leh

yah cause they lazy to mark 2 different kinds of answers so they make it such that everyone will do the same question lol. and yes i agree the questions were damn damn weird. not all la but some. haha i thought they gave us wrong paper too

Wow Hydrofly you're pretty good at math! Which school are you from? Looks like you'll get full marks for the paper, while I certainly won't.

I beg to differ, I've failed every single math paper in cjc since I went in, only started prcaticing papers like mad after prelims. Maybe this A level paper's a fluke, no I messed up on the Integration questions, so no full marks, hell, if i ever got full marks for math, then the sky falling to earth is possible.

Eh btw slash, actually no math still can - just abit tougher to get into business type courses... Some schools don't even require them to take math actually... But well yeah everyone in my class pure math question one after drawing the graph move on to next question liao... HHAHAHA

Same here man. I failed nearly all of my school's papers and I had to put in hellish amounts of work to get myself up to standard.

You need to take a contrasting subject, but I would think as long as the academic units are satisfied and the overall score satisfies (H2 A-20 points, etc.), it would be suffice.

i didnt know what to feel after bio. it was so weird, and it was way harder than prelims. and even Hwa Chong's super tough bio papers seemed do-able after bio. oh well, shall mug bloody hard for paper 3 and hope they dont send a 2nd atom bomb.

Math was good, but section A was kinda weird. like I was panicking when I took almost 1.5 hours to finish section A, then section B finished in like an hour. oh well. shall pray for the best for all of us

Yea bloody hell paper 2 was screwed up, I spent 1 hour 10 mins on section A, spent 50 minutes and finished section B. Had 1 more hour, took it to polish off the questions I didn't know how to do at first, figured them out in the end though.

Compared to paper 1 math was easy, just need a bit more observation/literacy skills to understand the info they give.

Bio-wise, my friends equated to A level paper to HC block test 1 standard, which was basically the hardest paper in y2.

lol apparently one of the teachers in my sch said that its one of the hardest bio papers he's ever seen in A levels

haha math was better compared to paper 1. started with stats then it seemed too easy and i started to doubt my answers here and there hahaha

i had 1 hr and 30 mins to check my answers. perhaps that just shows how easy paper 2 was.=)

It's tough. The mark allocations were weird and the data response question was utterly random. Hardly any physics stuff to answer the dumb question with.
