After i watched BucketHead....

Practice,pratice and practice

JAson Baker ,Marty and Most fo the true Guitar heroes now before they get there they practice like 8hrs to 10 hrs a day , imagine on the fretboard , u will get there, also if you get to practice like them .

you can't do it in Singapore. Don't bother with 8 - 10hrs unless you are absolutely SURE you can:

1) Do the musician circuit
2) Live the musician life
3) Cough up the discipline

Its not all peachy and rosy being a musician.

Otherwise, you're better off, in Sg, doing 4 hrs or so, and spending the rest studying so you can have a nice job to help maintain your passion.

Yeah have to agree on that. I'm very sure that lots (if not all) of us musicians when we started out on our instruments aspired to become full time professional musicians.

But after getting more "intimate" with our instruments , we tend to realise that being a full time musician is not a bed of roses.

Of course I'm not discouraging those who aspire to become one. If you aspire to become one , so be it , you have my fullest support but first know how to separate fact from fantasy before embarking. This is reality.

Sad but true.

after i watch buckethead, i wanna learn his songs
after i watch buckethead, i feel extremely lousy
after i watch buckethead, i can't sleep thinking about his face and skills
after i watch buckethead, i want an alien hole on my guitar too..
