i've gotta sell a POT tele..n someone offered a trade with a fernandes S-S-H,floyd rose guitar.

izit advisable?the thing tt attracted me is the floyd rose..n it's 'birthplace'-Japan..

it's fernandes FR-55 if i'm not wrong..

here's the biggest reason y i'm hesitating:tt tele..it aint exactly mine..i dropped it at G77..n was forced to buy..a nice fren paid for me..n i gotta pay her back asap otherwise it's be v. paiseh(it costs a gd $k)..
yeah..so i was thinking..POT is custom stuff..not easy selling custom stuff..

if i trade for fernandes..wud it be easier to sell?

as for the floyd rose..it's for temporary pleasure before selling..if i do trade..

well mate i'm not yet working..n my pocket $ every week is v. v. little..u'd be shocked if i tell u..n it's not even a guitar tt i want..

if i pay her back by instalments,tt means the guitar will be mine right?then how wud i tell my parents man?till now they havnt kno about this..i'd be killed if they found out!

this theory apllies to when u're trading for a guitar which u want cuz u think it's better or u like it more than the current u own..but for my case,i owe some1 the $..so it's not about like..it's about the sell-ability of the guitar..

fernandes although that particular guit is quite gd gives a nice tone is not very sellable. Its way underated. Somehow fenders i feel are overated.

u see man,if i had dropped a fender,maybe i can sell it in a week?n wont feel indebted for so long.neuro got offers for the fender he'd dropped..wonder if he's sold it..

WJ:it's not the shop itself bah..generally all teles n guitars with small headstocks wen hung on the rack is scaryy to touch..maybe tt's y swee lee displays the teles on the stands..

I don't have any impression of the Fernandes' Floyd Rose system... if its not an OFR, Gotoh, Schaller, then... there's a good chance its substandard.

imo, i dun feel it is a good guit + it looked so aged & unwell (in terms of maintainence).

try to sell ur Tele la, if not, pay back by instalment. dun trade pls.
