A particular high-gain capable pedal.

Hi all,

I've been through the phase whereby I liked to have lots of gain, and I used a Tubezone. I've grown out of that phase, sold the Tubezone and began exploring the wonders of mild overdrives.

It's been a while since I played metal. And I think I want to retain, in my rig, the capability to chug. So now I need a Tubezone replacement.

And that's where your kind recommendations come in. Here are some simple requirements,

1.) must not be another Tubezone, I want to try something else.

2.) must be locally available, I'd prefer to avoid the hassle of shipping pedals in anymore. But I must say the Jetters look very tempting.

Thanks!

I forgot to add that I'd like an analog one. Haha, and thanks for the recommendations so far. I've once owned a GT2 as well as an Ubermetal before. Anyway, where sells the GT2 new nowadays? Got it from Esden way back then.

Landmine
T-Rex Bloody Mary
Guyatone Metal Monster
Krank Distortion Maximus
Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Mayhem

Just throwing in random suggestions though..
The landmine is confirmed analog.. The rest I ain't sure..

You can still get the GT2 from Esden. Saw a few sets there 2 weeks back when I was there. Costs about $400 plus I think.

i share the same sentiments as pedalitis.

bloody mary seems to... erms. weak and thin.

ehx metal muff does the job wonderfully, and the g2d morpheus is excellent if you can afford the moolah.
