A new look for an old axe..."Pimp Ma Axe"

Hi all,
I have just pimped my Brian Moore C-70 to some extent and I though you all would like to have a look at it.This axe has been discontinued by the manufacturer so I thought it was cool to give it some facelift.I got all my parts from www.warmoth.com. The person responsible for these modifications is none other than KC from Maestro.I give him my full appreciation for his awesome expertise in getting this project done.Here are some pictures(not hi-res):

The Golden Look

Gold Wilkinson floating tremolo.

Gold Schaller locking tuners.

Gold fretwires...a Warmoth.com exclusive.

Needless to say..a killer shielding and wiring job.

The Tone Zone in bridge and 2 Area 58's in middle and neck position.

This was the same axe(without the new hardware) that played in this OM thread.....

Thanks for cheking it out ppl.If you would like to mod your axe....I would greatly recommend KC to you all.

While I understand the concept, the inspiration, the motivation behind the modification, I do find gold a poor choice due to the way it tends to tarnish all too easily, except for the blessed few who have different body chemical make-up!

But its a pretty looking mod... definately pretty... so which ones are REAL gold plated?

Dude, its to tank your damage, esp when standing near TVs, those not lcd screen type, the radiation can damage ur electronics.

Its not the only set of gold I have got man.... :lol:...and even if I run out of it...I think that tarnished look is just great for this old axe.The main thing about this guitar is....it can go really mellow or wail with ferocity.

I can bet with you safely on one thing though....the knobs wont tarnish even when my grandson starts growing a beard... :lol:
