Here's my 1527. Have a bunch of mods planned for it, which will all probably be completed hmm, in probably a month or two.

This is my one and only 7 string guitar.. all maple construction , with two ibanez blaze humbuckers. er... and ofcourse the obvious ah beng lorry blue lights.

i paid a total of 800+ USD (approx 1.3k - 1.4k)

very good deal considering it was built by someone who worked for Warrior guitars.

the neck is so thin... even ibanez users will be surprised.

the sound is pretty different from the standard 7 string as well...

With all that maple, i'm guessing that the tone must be pretty bright?

And how does it sound with your 5150?

the all maple construction actually gives it a very nice clean tone. Esp in the neck.
its very articulate, not at all bright. sustain is also pretty good.

the distorted tone is where this axe truly shines. the low B is very tight sounding despite the scale length. Many 7s ive tried, incl the jpm 7 and ibanez 7s have this flubbery low B syndrome... esp if they use heavier low strings to keep the tension up.

only problem is that the maple is abit too articulate... making my sloppy technique very obvious.
