3 sticks Drumsticks by DW

Anyways, the last time I went to Drum Resources, Nigel said he was moving soon. That was 3 weeks ago? I think he moved ler or already in the process of moving.

Great guy

Went there last week and heard that the lastest update is that he's moving in april. Location still not confirmed.

what you mean you can choose any 3 sizes and weight?

nah man, it's just that there are a lot of options to choose from. BUT they are already packed in 3s, all similar of cos.

eugenesmasher:
boss of the shop is nigel and i think it's a 1 man show most of the time, hence he can't be there all the time. so he recommends that we call b4 heading down, so if he isn't/can't be there, then we won't make a wasted trip. think u can search the threads for his number or i can PM u if u want. nowadays not safe to put yr contact details on public forums.

Think about it.

If you get two packs of three, you'll have six pairs. Let's say one pack is $16, two packs will be $32. If you get three pairs of, say, Sound Percussion sticks ($12 a pair). That will be $36. So in a way, this pack of three approach saves you a little bit of cash too.

Does anyone know the exact cost price? I'm in need of new sticks and I wanna give this a shot.

Wow, saves more over Vater sticks since they're sgd14-15 a pair.

But are they durable? Anyone has experience with them? (Especially for hard-hitting since I hit very hard)

I've seen some ads on them on Rhythm and Modern Drummer. They should be pretty good. Independent brands usually pay more attention to detail.

got the 7A mediums. barely got 'em for 2 months and one stick broke yesterday during worship practice, first time using them on an acoustic kit. mostly light usage on an e-kit. wth?

lol I dont use my 7A Mid's on the Ekit. I use another pair. I always use my 7A mid's when i go jamming at studio, they still have not broke... haha. and I wack the shit of them..

Went to his new place...to get the 3drumsticks....wow......really nice place....big and lots of drumsets on display...really worth making the trip there..but also makes you wanna spend more money...hahha...bought the 5A medium and Heavy and Light

really like the different weight cause i can used the H ones for training and M for playing and L ones for soft Playing...hehehe.....and it all feels the same...just the weight is different.......

Really awesome....some company should have come out with this concept earlier...

i can't seem to break the promark shira kashi oak sticks...

Hey man.. i use those too! anyway.. cant break them too man

anyway.. tried the 3 sticks too... really balanced... but i dont quite like the concept... cause you tend to use two sticks till they are pretty much worn out, den all of a sudden one breaks... so you end up using 1 really new stick and one really worn out one... even though they start out balanced, they end up uneven in the end.

This is unless they tend to break easily ...
