I've tried on them and I must say that I was quite impressed by how balanced the sticks feel. I've not tried enough to find the size that I really like though.

awesome sticks....... comes in many sizes

5A; Light, Medium, Heavy. Low, Medium, High pitch. Ball/teared tips etc...

and the price's very reasonable too.. so if u break one, there's one more to play with. :D

I have a "pair". I was so impressed I couldn't resist but to buy! haha.

I bought the 5A ball tip Heavy weight and Bright pitched. Its what i've been looking for actually...something in between my Vater 7A Manhattans and something heavier.

So far i've tried it on a concert snare...feels great...nice response and articulation...nice to do buzz rolls...

Havn't really tried on drumset yet...

i believe the threadstarter, guitarlover, mentioned in his 1st post, 1st sentence, where he saw the sticks.....

Hmm.

When one stick breaks, that usually means the pair is quite worn right? Then if I replaced it with the 3rd stick, wouldn't it be weight and feel unmatched too? One stick with wood chaffed off, one stick brand new. I probably won't be able to feel the weight difference that much lah, but I'm sure I can see the difference.

And that, the stick that is used more than the new one, will break sooner or later too. And then, you will have to pair up the remaining one, with another pack of 3.

I mean, unless, it's 3 sticks for the price of one pair. Haha. I don't know. I'm just being my usual self, over-thinking about things. :-D

Anyways, the last time I went to Drum Resources, Nigel said he was moving soon. That was 3 weeks ago? I think he moved ler or already in the process of moving.

Great guy

i juz got those a while ago.. not bad.. but i think, IMO, the finish is a lil too slippery.. yeah.. but the feel is great.. balanced etc.. cheers..

Besides your usual 7A 5A bla bla categories, it also comes in different weights and pitches....

for example :

7A heavy bright
7A heavy medium
7A light bright...etc...

more possibilities...=)

Well...i guess you just have to rotate among the 3..don't just focus on 2...so it will be balance if one breaks.......hope that helps.....
