"guess the owner is into synth before MIDI ???"

hey Bongman,

Yes...I was into synths, gadgets and recording when Vincent Clark was still with DM and released their debut single "Photographic". I was into music when "The Beatles" cartoon was still shown on TV...

I had to learn everything from ground up...Tape, 30ips, 15ips, VU Meters, Control Voltage and Gate, ClickTrack, etc.
NO SUCH thing as MIDI, DAW, Plug-In, Auto-Tune !

Everything was Old Skool...then.

wow! I guess you must be a veteran in electronic music.

I also into music when the Beatles cartoon were shown on TV
but no money for music gadgets until late teens.

however did go for music class when I was a kid

Good for you Bongman...

I never went to any music school of any kind...Everything's self taught ; from Studio/Sound Basics, to Sound Reproduction/Recording, to Gear Repair/Modifications...

Talk about no funds to buy gear: I know the feeling...Back then, we did not even have the funds to buy a decent mixer for a gig and had to "hardwire" join all the output cables from our synths, drum machines, etc. together to a common out, and then to the house input! No funds for a sampler? No problem...We sampled a drum kit onto a Multi-Track tape recorder and used it as our click-track and somehow, it ended up as the final mix track. You can imagine...the drum's recorded dry, no reverb, no EFX...
