B.C Rich JRV Standard or Hamer Vector V???

I know the 2 guitars are very diff but i like both of them for diff reasons. i like the B.C Rich 1stly becos of the styling and i have heard good things abt the new Rockfield pickups they put in. but the onli thing holding me back is the Floyd Rose bridge. i have nvr had a guitar equipped with such a bridge and i heard that it can be quite a hassle to maintain it. I like the hamer 1stly cos of its string thru body design (i assume its less difficult to maintain). the styling is nice as well (actually both look killer... just diff). but after reading some reviews, they stated that the neck pickup isn't very good. so i would just like to get ur opinion on wat i shld get... any alternatives in the this price range would be nice as well ($400+) :)

here are the guitars:

Hamer Vector - http://www.hamerguitars.com/?fa=detail&mid=1457

you can always replace the pickups much later, get the one which sounds good to you in the mean time, not to mention, offering the playability which is favourable to you.

this slipped my mind; i do own a V-type guitar which is good value for money- the above KRAMER Vanguard. check with swee lee if they still have them in stock.

V's are hell to play with sitting down, for me.
Why would you say string thru body is easier to maintain? I like TOMs and Fender style saddles, they seem pretty easy to maintain.

Go for the B.C. Rich. I'm being totally biased as a B.C. Rich user, lover, collector, etc.

/edit - Worth mentioning the new Rockfield pickups sounds quite good, but pale in comparison to the older BDSM humbuckers - those offer higher output.

higher output or otherwise, if a pickup doesn't serve you well, be open to other considerations. the BDSM in my Beast Jr made way for a Duncan JB (as above).
