i've a fender japan strat that i've played for more than 3 years. the vintage sized frets are wearing down quicker than i thought, so i'm thinking of getting a refretting job done, or should i get a new neck?

after having to put with cheap velcros and arriving at jamming sessions with all my pedals clustered at the bottom of the pedalboard, i finally had enough. so i went out to get the legendary 3M velcros but none of the hardware stores had them. where can i get them?

i just grounded my amp and the hum reduced tremendously. it used to hum like crazy even with a humbucker. i don't understand why it had to come with the weird looking 2 pin plug. anyway what's the principle behind grounding?
