refretting or getting a new neck

i've a fender japan strat that i've played for more than 3 years. the vintage sized frets are wearing down quicker than i thought, so i'm thinking of getting a refretting job done, or should i get a new neck?

if u love the neck.. just go for a re-fret svc.. change to dunlop jumbo frets.. shld last longer...

Don't meant to rain on your parade, but are you 100% certain that the frets are worn down enough to justify a re-fret, or change of neck?

I'm asking because I've some friends who bring their guitars for re-frets, but instead learning that the frets actually still have lots of fret-life from the luthier.

frets do not have to be worn down to justify a refret.
every new guitar i get is refretted with 6100s regardless. it just makes any guitar easier to play. IMHO of course

fret jobs (good ones) average $300-350

New necks would be around that or cheaper....

Keep the worn out neck ..or better yet sell me super cheap .

Nuy a good quality!
