ZOOM?

need some advice on getting a zoom multi-efx pedal.

i am currently looking at the zoom gfx-5 and zoom g2.1u.

anyone owns a gfx-5?care to share some views on it?i heard the g2.1u is pretty good too.i found a site for patches for it. http://zoom.haax.se/

however i couldnt find any sites for the gfx-5 and am worried i will not be able to get certain sounds i want by tweaking.if you know of a site could you kindly post it here pretty please?

my previous concern with ZOOM in general is the manufacturer's drive/ distortion definition. however, the current generation of ZOOM multi-FX has this revision in place & it sounds far better than the previous incarnations but i would urge you to acquire the tube-equipped models instead. one such model is depicted above... 8)

imo zoom gfx5 is not that good in terms of tweaking .... if u are getting zoom gfx5 i might recommend getting korg ax 1500 , but the new zoom seems interesting

subversion isnt the zoom g7.1ut costly?

it's in the 'mid-price' range ($500+/-). if you can acquire a good, used unit- recommended 8)
