HEi jeremy.. What is your opinion abt the GFX1 huh?? I am considering to buy one lor.. Besides the dist, what other problems that you encounter??

good for starters, but i hated not being able to tweak the effex and distortions more, each fx only got 10 diff settings

What do you mean by 10 diff settings?? Anyway.. How much is the GFX1 cost?? :o

10 different settings meaning for each effect u only have a number that goes from 1- 10.
Imagine a SIngle pedal u buy e.g a chorus... den only got 1 knob. Kinda like u cant adjust the tone very much.

The GFX-1 is like single knob pedals. For begginers maybe u cant tell the difference but after awhile you will get irritated especially when u just cant get that sound u want in ur head.

Thing bout multi FX. you should be able to use few stuff at a time, or else its crappily useless ... Like gfx5 can use 5 at one time, etc ...

know of any multifx dat can have chorus and flanger or phaser at the same time ?

Erm, not that I know of . . . My GFX-8 Zoom can combine either Flanger or Phaser with Stereo Chorus . . .

ya lor ... dat's why ....~

dunno if the GT8 is able to do dat ....~
but most multifx cant mix certain fx ...
quite irritating if you want a "weird" sound ~

Stompbox still the best ...
irritaing part ... tap dancing ...~
and if you want different fx placement ...
wah ... quite hard to plug out and swap halfway thru a song rite ???

i'm too used to multi-fx, and i blame it on mi 1st pedal, haha, lets say i have a clean with chorus, and a delay in the back, then i want an autowah lead without chorus, and with less delay? heehee, get what i mean  , to use individual analog pedals will be a real female dog, but i get better tone

I'm confused.. 8O

i have a zoom 708II bass.

zoom is actually gd...its just hard to tweak tho, but dat one takes time..

the dist, overdrv is true, very digital, light, but not really very irritating in jam studio.

its nice playing in studios, but wen u play big venues, it doesnt sound as gd..prolly the main culprit is the dist. maybe the bottom just dried out or sumting.

but i feel watever efx other than their dist/overdrv are still useful.
u get all the flanger, chorus, reverb, and other useful stuffs in one pedal.

so wat i did was, wen i had enuff money, i got meself an mxr bass di+ m80..got dist channel. so set it up besides my zoom, woohoo!!! nice!!

my verdict is, zoom pedal is a beggars' god send.
