Zoom H2

regarding the drift problem, the h4n doesn't seem to drift much. read that it drifts 1 or 2 frames per hour.

anybody knows if a 44.1khz source and 48khz source have any impact on drift? i've been seeing this issue being brought up on other forums, not sure if it's true

the drift happens for both 44.1khz and 48khz regardless

I just realised I never posted the answer to the drift problem in my super old H4 FAQ/review.
the "fix" to it for video sync use if it's not different from the H4 :

playback your H2 with the .wav in the SD card.
headphones output > into your onboard soundcard or another audio interface input. and record it at 1X. (yes I know lame.)

if i'm not wrong this should work, I tried it once on a few-hour-gig and it worked way better. the only shit thing is the 1X capture.

let me know if this works for H2. for now I use the H2 direct input into my vidcam audio input so it doesn't have drift issues.
