Your Tubescreamer before or after Distortion?

how's your chain order like?

i notice if i put it before dist, it gives me more natural boost.

if i put it after, its like all of a sudden your tone becomes tight.

hmmm..

how bout u guys?

It depends on what you want sound you want to get at the end of the day. If put in front, it acts as a boost. If put behind, it acts as a resister to control the dist and tone in the line. I use it infront of my Beez modded DS-1. I'm using both pedals individually and not combining, so it doesn't matter to me anyway.

i put it after
usually drive is before 12o'clock , tone is 1o'clock and level is set to give a slight boost to my loudest setting

i cant make up my mind. sometimes i like it before and sometimes i like it after. maybe i should get another TS. :(

Gud question. It really depends on how you prefer to set the TS9 (stock or modded) either for it's distortion (Less Level more Drive) or as a booster (Less Distortion mre Level). Also the type of amp and the balance between pre amp distoortion or power tube distortion or somewhere in between. :)

guys, what about Jekyll and hyde when both channels are activated.
in the circuit itself, jekyll (TS) is before or after hyde?
or should i put it, does it sound like a TS before a distortion pedal or TS after a distortion pedal?
