All the sub-genres are classified under Heavy Metal hahah. Even though Death Metal normally people classify it as a separate entity. Metal, is infact just the short form for Heavy Metal ah. Bt most of u dont c it tht way. So when someone tells u to state Heavy Metal bands, it can mean 2 things.

1) state metal bands

2) state solely heavy metal bands

And in this thread i suppose its no.1 Bt if its 2, then some of the picks users have made would be oblivious to this thread.
