I dunno... favourite strings? Actually, I use anything. Haven't really found much difference between brands on the same gauges... I use only 10-46s. Have been buying Dunlops only because I like the packaging... whahahahahaha:mrgreen:

Everly B-52 Bombers, 9 or 10 gauge. last long, don't snap when winding, beautiful natural midrange.

they are selling at Maestro (i think it's called that?) for like $12 or $13 a pack? which is absolutely ridiculous because in the states they are cheap, they're like $3.50 a pack at retail price. i used to use nothing but B-52s when i was in the states and they're cheaper than d'addarios there. just that nobody except Maestro seems to bring them into Singapore. but everyone i've introduced to Everly strings has loved them and some have switched to Everlys despite the high price.

i'm using DR 10-52s at the moment because they're cheaper. i hope the price of Everlys drops so i can switch back to them.

Until now I prefer the high tension strings.
So I used GHS Boomers and Gibson Britewire for many years.
(009-042, 010-046)

Now I`m using various brands.
GHS Progressive Dave Mustaine(010-052)
Dean Markley Nuno(009-050)
DR Dimebag(009-050)
DR Titefit(009-046)
Dean Markley Bluesteel(009-046)

I like hybrid strings.
For the floydrose bridge, I use 009-046 or 009-050.
For the stoptail, syncro bridge, I use 010-052.

+1 to Everly. Using .11s and I gotta say it just feels right. I thought I loved the Daddario's, I still do, but I prefer the Everly's more.

i love the everly b-52s, more tone and awesome sustain . supposedly higher mixture of iron into the alloy so no idea what that does but it sounds way better and i use martin strings for my acoustics

Hmmm Everly sounds tempting... A bit ex tho...

Ironically Ernie Balls are cheaper than D'addarios locally.. D'addarios sound a bit better IMHO but Ernie Balls last much longer based on experience...

i guess the everlys are worth it , i buy them in 10 packs so they're cheaper . i hate rusty strings cause they make my tender little fingers bleed hahah . since the b-52s last twice as long as normal strings , i guess its a worthy investment
