Just a quick question, is there some way to mod a strat so that I will be able to get an additional neck + bridge combi?

Note that if your using true singlecoils on both position, it won't cancel hum anymore.

Ok thanks. Hum is something I've gotten used to somehow. Never really appreciated humbuckers for some reason.

this mod will give the neck+bridge configuration and much more in strat style config guitar. Only draw back is no single middle pickup configuration(to include the middle PU only, will need to include a toggle switch, not shown in the schematic).

Anyway, if following the diagram, 3 push pull and a mega switch will be needed and can be gotten in local guitar shops here. There wont be any different in exterior, but will result many much different sound in strat style guitars.
