Chanmin, do you use the RC booster as a signal booster, overdrive or clean boost (for solos etc)? And how's the direct drive SS for you? I tried the direct drive once and was pretty much blown away.
i use the RC booster as a boost for solos with my BB preamp very... smooth, i have my BBE sonic maximiser for putting back whatever signal loss i may be experiencing tonally....so no need for a 300 dollar line booster la..
the BBDDSS is mainly for juicy OD rythm and/or phat leads. its well.. juicy... and reacts really well to my playing. This is a sorta special model made for malcom ... with a Blues drive pushpull option built in. kinda neat though i dont use it most of the time. took him a long time to decide to sell it to me...made me pay dearly also..
The latest pedal on my board.. which all people who want "MARSHALL IN A BOX" should try ....is the Radial tonebone hot british. its really damn bloody good la..
