Here is the extremely rare, mint condition ESP MM-270 better known as the 'Zorlac'.

If somebody were to ask about the most desirable Kirk Hammett signature guitar, one might think of the KH-2, the 'spider' guitar (KH-3), Frankenstein or Dracula or maybe the Ouija. However to many a diehard oldschool fan it is doubtless, the almost-mythical 'Zorlac'. In case you don't know what this is, you can find out more about it on the web. Or simply pop in the Live Shit Seattle video and press 'play'.

In short, it is Kirk Hammett's very first ESP guitar, as it was originally intended, but swiftly discontinued due to design similarity with Jackson guitars. So they tweaked the design slightly which went on to become the million-selling KH-2.

The 'Zorlac' guitar as it came to be referred to by fans, was neck thru, had a pointy reverse headstock, and vertical skull inlays instead of horizontal.

The difference between this and any other KH signature limited or otherwise is, unlike a KH-2 'vintage', Frankenstein, or even Ouija, as long as you have money, you can buy. However ESP can never reissue or build another 'Zorlac' ever again. All that remain are those that were made between 1987-1989, and how many have you ever seen outside of Kirk Hammett's hands.

$4350 with OHSC and impossible to find Zorlac sticker
