have one in hand looking for the other to complement my setup.

Neon Pink Paf Pro should be in good working condition.

also looking for Floyd Rose in good condition as mine is quite whacked.
looking to fit into my RG450 which has a LICENCE floyd.

Anyone with idea for truss rod covers? looking to fit in a colourful one..instead of the standard black.

thanks for browsing

Wow... Its really hard looking for that Pink PAF Pro? :D

Anyway, for the floyd rose, please get a good, proper floyd. The RG450 comes with the Ibanez TRS trems I believe and that trem, althought better than many licensed floyds, still has inferior metals and built quality.

Here are the trems that SHOULD fit into your TRS cavity with no, or minimal, routing.

1) Original Floyd Rose - Order them online for abt 190 SGD
2) Gotoh Licensed Floyd Rose - Excellent floyd implementation, I'm using it. Its abt 220 SGD
3) Schaller Floyd Rose - Excellent German implementation, smaller top profile but just as good. This one costs a bomb, at least 350 SGD overseas, or you can buy it from Guitar Connections for $375.

Don't bother with putting in any cheaper alternative or another TRS because you'll suffer with the tuning instability.

Have fun!

Cheerio!

I don't think Davis has them man... :( I went there to ask and they said they don't stock the Gotoh Licensed FLoyd Rose...

Really!!!??? I thought I saw them just yesterday.

Anyway, of all the trem mentioned above, the Gotoh is the best built. Schallers have bene kinda iffy through the years. The original Floyd Rose just plain sucks!! Most of the radius are all over the shop and need to be shimmed.

Yeah man... I went there, saw them selling Gotoh stuff, got all excited and asked if they had the gotoh trem.. Nope... none at all... But I think you can get better prices overseas. :)

yeah... Floyd has gone down thru the years.. I didn't know Schaller wasn't not too far off! Always thought the germans had it going for quality trems! 8O

Gotoh trems are awesome though. 8) But the Gotoh doesn't come with a radius... don't recall seeing that on mine...

All the trems mentioned above are radiused to some extent. Notice that each individual saddle are of a different height. If the saddles are not radiused, your high E and B strings would be pretty high, G and D strings will be really low and A and E strings higher than the high E and B strings.

Thats true...

I think my Gotoh doesn't have any radius... :? Its totally flat... and replacement saddles can be bought with no mention of saddle heigh... maybe I need to get shims for it...

empty71, you do shims? PM me a qoute?

Cheerio!

You can get aluminium sheets from Artfriend at Bras Basah and cut them up for shims. The problem is you need to know how thick your shims need to be. They're of varying heights.

Ahhh... cool cool... I guess its time to do some DIY. :)
Going to search the web to find out how much shim thickness I need... thanks so much for the info!

Ok! I think we've hijacked the thread long enough...
