I didnt say he will use them lousy ones, i said i hope he uses the gd ones. There r many buotique items that still uses cheapo stuff in the mkt. Wat determines buotique anyway?

In fact for his craft n the material he uses, i think he price them rather cheap. More appealing to me than warriors guitar which charge alot due to the materials used.

I doubt he would use the Korean made KA pups.

Boutique = quality regardless of price.

And warrior actually has... quite... a bit of bad feedback...

+1 for a soloway 7 ... i just tried Adamqlw's

the 27" scale just makes the whole 7 string come to life man ... the 7 string's playability and tone was very very memorable. The low B has got Good tension ... no flubby bass strings here. and somehow the treble strings arent hard to play on despite the scale length...

with distortion it pwned la...

Yes... this is probably the main edge a USACG parts will have over the Swan.

And I'll get to live out a little dream of going the "tone is in the FINGAAAAHHHH!" route - single humbucker, vol & tone controls, that's it.

Even if I DO go Swan - I want functionality and durability, couldn't really care for the flamed maple and what not... I don't need to be obliged to baby/pamper my guitars, just taking care of them and playing the hell out of them.

Maybe that would make the whole Swan deal ... kind of... uh... like take on a "Shredcow, for what you want, you obviously shouldn't go Swan" vibe.
