would a PAF , not paf pro or vintage paf etc , but normal PAF , will it go well in neck position with tonezone in bridge ?

cause i heard from somewhere , cant rmb , that if u mix high output (tonezone) with vintage output ( paf ) , it does not go well .

opinions? , thanks :D

dimarzio super distortion is considered high output

but the paf and super d is a somewhat classic combination for dimarzio pups....

dunno bout tonezone though, but if ur tokin about mixing high output and low to med output then this shd come into context so yea...

yeah im talking about that , so mixing high and low , med output does not really matter right ?

if yeah than thanks nysk , quesiton answered :D

mixing high o/p units with vintage ones does not entail a major problem, just that there'll be volume diff to consider.

oh volume difference ?
then how sia ....

Oh, and volume differences can be solved partly by adjusting pup heights. If it's a pick guard, can adjust screws. If it's direct mounted, you might need to add a shim.

If you don't mind using each pickup exclusively, shouldn't be a problem.

If you mix the 2 pups, you may have less than stellar combinations. Or not.

There's a pair of Breeds selling 2ndhand which you might want to consider putting to mix with the Tonezone instead. (Check ShredCow's review of Breed neck/bridge on the neck pup. It's somewhere in the forum.)
