Seriously though, I think a breakdown of the typical grooves and fills used in funk, latin, samba etc would be good for the workshop.

Maybe you can also include how these grooves and fills can be applied to other genres of music in a more cross genre concept, considering that the lines distinguishing between genres are quite blurred (pun intended hahahaa) these days.
